Our Vision

  • ¬†We believe our primary reason for existence is to serve others, especially the homeless and the poor.

  • We are a church that is alive and moving, reaching out to others in need in our communities, wanting to make a difference in the world in which we live.

  • Because of this, we seek to attract young women and men who want to put their faith into action as well as “seasoned people” who bring with them a life of experiences and wisdom.

  • How we live is far more important to us than our doctrinal “purity;” finding ourselves with fewer rules by often asking ourselves, “What would Jesus do?”

  • We are prepared and equipped to help people with a sense of call to enter into the discerning process.

  • This includes, but is not limited to, spiritual formation, academic preparation, guidance by a professional life coach and pastoral support and direction through the process, all the way to and beyond ordination.

This book by David Platt captures the heart of our vision:
