Refection by Fr. Rohr as it manifested in the life of St. Peter, a man frequently broken by the passion of his own humanity AS he lived alongside the living presence of God, seems evidence that we are to expect that natural tension between “self” and conversion. Always to be found in relationship with Jesus and always ultimately about restoration. Thank God for the passion of Peter’s faith and his certainty that emerged out of his painful betrayal of himself and his Lord.
